Sleepers

So cute in their matching green. Zachary is enjoying his new bouncer seat and Elena was tired out from a long day of playing outside. P.S. Zachary is the louder snorer...

Visiting Smallwood's Harvest

At Smallwood's Harvest. All sorts of animals to feed! Not all of them like the carrots though...
Silly looking rooster. Or is it sad looking?
Getting some cracked corn for the animals that don't like carrots. Zachary is such a big help!
Elena says, "Kiddie-up!"
Ringing the bell to warn the chickens to get out of the way!
A very cool (and fun) pulley system to get food up to the goats that have a platform on top of the building. Who knew goats liked to climb so much?!?
The goats are waiting up top for their food.
This was the most exciting part of the petting zoo! It was fun pulling the rope so the bucket of food would go up and down.
On the way to Smallwood's, we stopped at a great candy store on Hwy 2 called The Alps. We'll have to take Daddy there next time because it was overwhelming! So many fudge, brittle, and taffy flavors to choose from. We got some taffy for Auntie (wonder if she'll like the pomegranate or chocolate chip cookie flavors...). Since we'll be visiting Nana and PopPop next week, we got them some coconut divinity because Nana LOVES coconut. Daddy will get some dark chocolate seafoam. We were tempted to get him some chipotle or garlic brittle (crazy flavors!) or haystacks (one of his favorites), but we decided it would be more fun to take him so he could go candy crazy.

Fun at the River House with Mommy

Here we are playing catch or hit the beanbag frogs. We also played different chase games. Sometimes there was a naughty dinosaur chasing the caped super hero, other times there was Captain Hook chasing Tinkerbell (sometimes Zachary joined us a Peter Pan), and the princess was sometimes chased by the scary bug.
We also sorted animals by the letter they began with. Mommy drew letters on the patio with chalk and the animals went to their letter homes. Grandma had to live in the G with the goats and geese.
An aerial view.
We've also played Go Fish with pinochle cards, created sticker art, colored the Dora house, read books, and watched movies.

Big sister milestone

Elena has decided she's a good enough big sister that she can carry Zachary. She carries him from one room to the next, or if he's fussing, carries him to his swing and puts it on high (doesn't always help). Thanks for being a good helper E!(don't ask about the band-aid...)
Cuties.

Fun in the Sun!

Gosh I've been busy! I went raspberry picking with Aubrie and Aiden and their families. Not too successful with raspberries, but lots of fun running down the rows!I went to Grandma's house to play in my pool. Auntie and I splashed Mommy and Whitto and then sprayed Grandma and Cody with the hose!
I took Zachary to the North Bend Outlet Mall and pushed him in his stroller. We got Daddy a new pizza stone and I got an ice cream cone!
I went to Grandma's house another time when the slip n' slide was set up. Not really getting the hang of it, but having fun anyways... I turned my blue rocking pony into a seahorse and rode her down it and in the kiddie pool! (Mommy's gotta get some pics of that cause it was so funny!)

Here's my slip n' slide warm-up dance.

With My Buddy Aiden at the Zoo

Here we are next to a GIANT gorilla! Here we are playing "chicken" with the sprinkler down below - we won!
Here I am feeding the cranes.
Here are the baby tigers that aren't babies anymore. Last time we saw them they were just about my size. Now they are even bigger than Daddy!
I like the light orange one best.

4th of July at Camano

We actually did fireworks this year!Daddy was in charge and they went on forever and ever. It was fun though because I went with him to the fireworks stand and got to pick fun ones like the penguin and panda.
The sparklers and pop-its were fun!
We spent 2 nights at Camano Island with Nana, PopPop, Aunt Amy, Uncle Greg, Aunt Sarah, Ruby, Nattie, and Tate - every single Ruzauskas!
I had lots of fun with Ruby and Nattie collecting shells, coloring, playing on the playground, riding in the boat, and making s'mores. Can't wait for next year!
