This was Elena's first fishing trip! The experience must not have been so great because she didn't want to do it again during our trip... It was cold, windy, and she didn't catch any fish.
Elena made a friend in our campground - a duck. Elena named her Girl and fed her lots of treats like popcorn, pasta, and crackers.
Elena was a big help with mushrooming. She helped find them, pick them, carry them, and clean them. Her favorite was spinning the water off them in the salad spinner.
Elena liked helping Daddy with the fire too. We didn't have any marshmallows to roast, but there were plenty of pine cones to throw in!
At the end of the trip Elena was really sick and worn out. Somebody else was worn out too...
